U7

January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021

All teams will participate in 1 weekend of play (Saturday or Sunday) in May, and June against other clubs.  Member clubs will schedule practices and in-house games at their discretion.

U7 will have a wrap up GELC Jamboree style tournament on June 2026.

U9

January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019

U9 Lacrosse will be played as per the Lacrosse Canada Rule Book - Option L

U9 Season Play will begin April 2026. Weekday games will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, with a start time of 6:00pm or 7:00pm. There will be weekend play with Westlock. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U11

January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017

U11 Season Play will begin April 2026

Weekday games will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, with a start time of 6:00pm or 7:00pm. There will be weekend play with Westlock. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U13

January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2015

U13 Lacrosse is played in tiers A,B

U13B and U13 Women's Division Season Play will begin April 2026.

U13B and U13W weekday games will be scheduled on  Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a start time of anywhere between 6:00-8:15pm. There will be some weekend play. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U13A weekday games will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, with a start time of anywhere between 6:00-8:15pm. There will be some weekend play. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U15

January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013

U15 Lacrosse is played in tiers A,B

U15B and U15 Women's Division Season Play will begin April 2026. Weekday games will be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a start time of anywhere between 7:00-8:30pm. There will be some weekend play. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U15A Division Season Play will begin April 2026. U15A  weekday games will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, with a start time of anywhere between 7:00-8:30pm. There will be some weekend play. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U17

January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2011

U17B and U17 Women's Division Season Play will begin on April 2026. U17B and U17W weekday games will be scheduled any day of the week with a start time of anywhere between 7:00-8:30pm. There will be some weekend play. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

U17A Division - Wild Rose Lacrosse League will be played on weekends. Regional games will be scheduled any day of the week. Member clubs will schedule practices at their discretion.

 

Note: U11 & up includes boy and girl only teams. U7 & U9 are co-ed teams.

When does Lacrosse start?

The season begins in mid-April for all divisions. Some open practice times may be scheduled prior to the beginning of the season.

U11 to U17 teams will play in playoffs and provincials which are completed by mid-July.

U7 and U9 teams end their season with a city-wide tournament during the middle of June.

NOTE:  If your family intends to try out for the "A" teams, you must check this at time of registration. 

Where do games and practices take place?


Practices and select home games are usually scheduled in arenas throughout the south quadrant of Edmonton, with majority taking place at Donnan or Tipton.

The Warriors club is a member of the Greater Edmonton Lacrosse Council which means games could be scheduled in areas throughout the Greater Edmonton and surrounding areas, including Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain.

When are the games and practices ?

Each division will have a set schedule once registration is complete, you can visit the division page for more information.

Can my child play with his friend?

During the registration process you can enter in a reciprocal friend request for U7 and U9 only, please be advised we make every effort to form fair, balanced teams based on the number of registrations we receive and the skill level of players involved. 

Refund Policy

Written refund requests must be received by the registrar (registrar@warriorslacrosse.ca) within 48 hours of registration and must include the following information: Player Name, Parent(s) Name(s), Home Address, Phone Number and Reason for the refund request.

All refunds will be subject to a 2.15% credit card fee. After 48 hours the initial fee of $75 is non-refundable.

After March 15 no refunds will be given, unless it is for a medical reason. In this case please email the registrar and your request will be reviewed by the board.
